Happy Friday friends!
As always, I am linking up with Andrea & Erika for a little Friday Favorites. A peek into a few of my favorite things from the week.
I took an unintentional break from blogging and social media for a bit. No specific reason, it was just a busy season of life coming out of the holiday with kids sports and had a lot going on with work. I was happy to return this week Wednesday. You can catch up a little bit about what we’ve been up to in my What’s up Wednesday post here.

Well, how could this not be a favorite? We celebrated my father-in-law‘s 90th birthday on Tuesday. An impressive feat to be able to celebrate that birthday, but even more impressive to be able to celebrate it in such great health!
We celebrated with his favorite coconut cream pie on Tuesday night, and we have big plans for another celebration tomorrow!

I started reading this book this week, and I cannot put it down. It is so interesting to read about how much external factors in food and exercise can have on your overall health and well-being. While, I’m only about a third of the way through, I highly recommend this book, it is so fascinating.

I have had this sweatshirt for a while now, and I haven’t worn it in quite a bit and I forgot how great it is! It’s a dupe for a very expensive brand. I love the front pocket to throw your phone in, it’s cropped, but not too short. Bonus it comes in lots of colors!
And speaking of sweatshirts, I got
this one for our trip to Florida last week and loved it so much. I got it
in navy as well! The fabric is so soft, it has a longer length for leggings, and it cinches at the waist for a really great looking fit!

As we continue on our little journey for healthier living, we have removed most plastics from the house and are storing food in glass containers. This is a pic of my lunch I was taking to work the other day. I love
these small containers for cottage cheese or yogurt or berries. And
this set comes with five glass containers and five lids. They are great for having fresh vegetables, chopped and ready in the fridge and they make the perfect size to take a salad or some leftovers for lunch.

This coatigan looks so expensive, but it’s a great price point fromAmazon. It’s a perfect transition piece when it’s not super cold, but not quite warm enough. I love it in the ivory, but they have several colors. And this heart necklace from Amazon has been on repeat for me! Wishing you a great weekend! See you back here on Monday, there is always room for one more at our family table

ReplyDeleteThat Target jacket is so cute and I love the shorts they show it with! I have been seeing that book everywhere and I guess it's a sign for me to read it. Have fun at the birthday celebration this weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to your father in law! 90 is an amazing age and he looks so well.
ReplyDeleteThat sweatshirt looks great, I do love a decent pocket.
