Happy Friday friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a great day with my family, as my sister & Mom hosted us this year.
The pie has been eaten and now it is time to get shopping! As always, I am linking up with Andrea & Erika for a little Friday Favorites. This week I am sharing some of my favorite gift ideas for teens, guys, the traveler, the cook and a few things on my wishlist too! This really is a super-sized post! Let's get into it!
Gifts for Teen Boy
Sharing a few gift ideas for a teen boy. Some of these are on my list to get for Luke, and others he already has, but would be a great gift idea. He loves American Eagle T-shirts. He has a ton of short sleeve versions but grabbed a few long sleeve for the Winter. These are on super sale for the weekend.
I am not sure about your teen boy, but apparently it is not a cool thing to wear a coat. Hoodies are a staple whether it’s 95° or 25°, hoodies are it!. He loves these from American Eagle, also on super sale this weekend.
Jeans also don't seem to be an option with a teen boy. Joggers are where it is at. This style is a favorite of Luke’s.
Luke is working on speed and agility for his legs both for volleyball and basketball. This agility ladder is really on a great black Friday deal from Amazon. I think it’s a great gift for an athlete.
This is really a pretty cool device, and can transform your phone into a little gaming system. I think it’s perfect for travel or on the go or if your kid has long bus rides to and from games or something.
Speaking of games. These two games are always on Luke’s Christmas List. He always asks for the latest version of Madden and the latest version of NBA 2K.
Nike hoodies are always a go to gift as well. Nike is having a phenomenal sale this weekend. There’s a promo code you can use to get 30% off most items on the site
While the winter jacket is totally uncool. This rain jacket has been a winner for Luke this year. He has worn it both to school and on the golf course!
White crocs have been a staple for a while and they don’t seem to be going anywhere. Christmas is a great time to freshen up his current pair.
Luke and his friends play this game when they get together or have a sleepover. I think it’s called shut the box. I have never played it and don’t really know what it is but they love it. Sometimes they throw in a few dollars and they have the best time playing it.
Gifts for Teen Girl
A few gift ideas for a teen girl. I could really go crazy for a teen girl. These are a few of my favorite ideas (or things Ella has).
This is great to watch TV on your phone. You can connect it to this little stand and speaker to watch a show or YouTube videos. Really a great gift idea for a teen boy or girl, and it's under $25!
I know you’re seeing these everywhere, but a Stanley does make a great gift idea. They are easy to grab, lots of colors, and I know that they will be used by my teen girl.
I have seen people get pretty crazy with their accessories for their Stanley’s, but I thought this pack was super cute. Under $10 and a fun way to jazz up your cup.
While Ella doesn’t need a new desk, I love the simplicity of this one with the gold accents. I think it’s great for a desk or you can even make it a vanity.
This mirror is adorable if you wanted to make the desk area of vanity.
Bows are all the trend right now, and these dainty little bow earrings are the cutest secret Santa gift for teen girls, or will make a great stocking stuffer.
This adorable bracelet is also a cute little stocking stuffer. I added this to my list as well!
Portable chargers are essential. These make a great gift for a teen boy or a girl and they are on a great deal for black Friday. This is my favorite probable charger.
Aerie is always a win with my teen girl. This gray top with matching gray pants is adorable. Super cozy for loungewear or you can even wear this outfit to school.
This neck massager is a great gift for teens. My kids are always asking me to work out a knot in their neck or their shoulders. I think would be a great gift idea for a teen or college student and under $50.
Ella loves getting some fun makeup sets for Christmas! This Makeup for Mario set is a great little stocking stuffer.
I also loved these Milk Party Sticks... probably another stocking stuffer!
Gifts for Guys
As I’ve mentioned before, Paul has been tracking his health since his heart attack. His doctor has encouraged him to get an Apple Watch to monitor his heart. He’s not much of a watch guy, so he’s really interested in this ring. And this will be under the tree for him this year. There are some great deals on Black Friday if you have been eyeing this for yourself or a gift.
Paul is always struggling with dry skin on his face in the Winter. He’s not one to use products per se, so he’ll take some of mine but say that they smell too feminine or floraly. I’ve gotten this one and he seems to like it and it helps with dry skin.
Paul is often watching YouTube videos on his phone. Whether it is to learn how to fix something in the house or a podcast on Health, he’s often holding his phone to watch a video. I thought this would be a cool idea for him to watch without having to hold his phone. The same one I am gifting the kids!
Now, maybe not the most glamorous gift, but definitely a practical one. Paul has this and uses it often! And this is also on Luke's list too!
Paul skis in the Winter. He’s the only skiier in the family, none of us really enjoy skiing. His issue has been his feet being cold. He got these electric warming socks a couple of years ago and he’s been a much happier skier. These are perfect, if you have a guy in your life that is an avid winter sportsman, or even hunting, definitely helps to keep things warm.
Paul has a Helly Hansen winter jacket that he loves. Last year for his birthday I got him the rain jacket version. I don’t think you realize how much you need a good rain jacket until you don’t have one. He loved it so much, he got one for his dad this year as well. This one is pricier, but a great investment piece and super great quality.
Paul loves wearing slippers in the house. He was an avid Ugg fan for years until he found this brand. He got a couple Summer shoes from this brand a few years ago and has been sold ever since.
We got him these slippers last year for Christmas (courtesy of his list of course!) and he loves them!
While these gifts are all material things, I really think one of the best gifts you can give yourself or encourage someone to give to themselves is the gift of health. Last summer, Paul had a heart attack. He is a typically healthy, young male and it really rocked our world when it happened.
He has been doing a ton of research on how to live the healthiest lifestyle and these are two books he would strongly recommend.
The one on the left is of simpler, easy read. Just talks about general lifestyle, diet, and other things to live your best and youngest life. That was one of the first ones he read. There’s also a version for women that I have read. The book Outlive is a little bit deeper. This takes you through some more complex medical terms, but if you stick with it, there’s a lot of really good information about the science of longevity.
Gifts for the Cook
I love to cook, and these are a few items on my list. These would be great for someone who loves to be in the kitchen or maybe someone that’s looking to spend more time in the kitchen. I ask for a new cookbook every year. I just love perusing them on Christmas morning and getting inspired for meal ideas. This is the latest one that’s on my list for this year.
I love the figment line from target. These mini spatulas are one of my go to when I’m cooking or baking. When I saw the tricolor for holidays, I had to get this set. These would also be cute separated and added to like a little hostess gift as well.
Back to this Figment collection again. I got this baking set last year and I love it. They wash very well, they help cook the food evenly, and I love the matte gold look.
You can grab the baking pans.
This is the link for the muffin tins.
And this three piece cooking sheet I use one of the sizes almost daily.
This is not necessarily a cookbook, but I love Ina Garten. She is such a joy to watch, listen to, and shares incredible recipes. This is the book of her life story and I cannot wait to read it!
While I love chopping vegetables by hand, chopping onions seems to be bothering more and more. My eyes are a disaster by the time I finish chopping my onions. So I have this chopper on my list for Christmas.
While this is not necessarily cooking related, I think this candle warmer would be so cute in the kitchen. I always get nervous having an open flame around. This candle warmer allows you to get the fragrance from your candle have a very pretty accent light and not the concern of the flame.
Gifts for the Traveler
These are a few of my favorite things if you have to gift something for a traveler. The silicone covers for your full-size products are amazing. They slip on easily and prevent your bottles from leaking.
This travel toiletry bag is my holy grail item for traveling. It fits full size items. It opens up to hang on the door of your hotel room and I have bought it several times. And that Makeup bag fits a ton of products, and it opens up like a square so you can really see inside of it and you’re not trying to dig through a small zipper opening. Two of my absolute must haves!
This weekender bag is perfect. Whether you’re going on a couple of day trip or a weekend trip. It’s the perfect size to fit just what you need and has a super sheep look about it. It comes in several colors. I am partial to the ivory or of course, the black.
So we don’t have this bag, but I was traveling with a peer for work and he had this backpack. He literally had all he needed for a couple of days travel in this backpack. It opens up to hold so much!
On My Wish List (Or things I have & Love!)
I absolutely love this vest from Old Navy. The color pattern is super cute. They also have solid colors available too. I like the cropped version that they did this year.
They also have this faux leather vest in both this bone color and black. I just got this delivered and the quality is so nice! They are 50% off today!
I’ve shared this before, but this denim jacket is so good! If you have someone to gift for that loves denim jackets, this one is a winner.
This fleece is so good and looks like a free people that is way more expensive. I got the black-and-white, but it also comes in white with black piping and a really, really pretty blue color. And I think it’s like 40% of target this weekend.
You cannot go wrong with the Old Navy flannel pajamas. They are on super sale throughout the holiday season and make an adorable gift. These are rolled up with a ribbon and tied with a note.
I am wearing this sweater today to kick off the holiday season. It is so soft and gives just a nice little pop of holiday. It comes in several other patterns.
I got this one as well, and I will pair it with the red vest from Old Navy, and it will be perfect in mid December!
Speaking of holiday looks, how adorable are these bags?
The red one is gorgeous for a holiday party and the black is perfect for Winter date night.
These Nikes are on my list. With their black Friday sale, These are like under $70. I think they’re great to wear out and about or running errands.
I have shared the sneakers here before, but these Nikes are hands-down, my favorite most comfortable shoe. They have a really great look about them, I actually get several compliments when I wear them. I think I have them in like six or eight colors but need this green. Again with code BFRIDAY you can get an extra 30% off most items!
The screen will go perfect with this green set that I have. I have the workout tank, the leggings and the sweatshirt. I am seeing this green color everywhere this season and I love it!
Speaking of working out, this weighted vest is on my Christmas list. I love doing walks with my girlfriend, and I’m looking forward to adding this vest to get a little extra on our workout. I am looking at the 12 pound version.
Also on my workout wish list are these ankle or wrist weights. Whether you use them for a walk or for Pilates, they add a little extra to your workout.
I am an early riser and have always been an early riser. I really don’t know why I’ve never read this book, but it’s on my list and I’m looking forward to reading it!
I love a "coatigain". Whether with leather leggings or jeans, it can really just elevate your outfit. This cream one is on sale and I sent the link to Paul as a gift idea!
This handbag is under $25 and is on my list for Christmas. It looks like a designer bag at a fraction of a cost!
I have this necklace and love it. It’s such a cute statement piece, if you need a gift idea for someone I think this would be perfect. It’s under $25 and it’s just kind of a unique look.
And if you are counting down the days to Christmas, this sign is the perfect way to do it! p.s. there are only 27 days until Christmas :)
Wishing you a great weekend of shopping, decorating or maybe just relaxing! See you back here on Monday, there is always room for one more at our family table!
xoxo

ReplyDeleteWhat fantastic gift ideas. I love that desk and the mirror would go perfectly with it!
