Now before we get started, I want to clarify I am by no means a beauty expert. I would consider myself more in the beauty competent bucket if that is even an option. I like to dabble with products, but I would not say I am a "product junkie". There are days I go makeup-less, days I sport my everyday makeup and sometimes I glam it up for a night out. And by glam it up I mean maybe a darker lip color or darker eye shadow...nothing too crazy!

1. Eyelash Curler Yes or No?
Yes. I curl my eyelashes everyday. Even when I go makeup -less, I am lying. I almost always do at least one swipe of mascara. I feel lost without something on my lashes.

2. Favorite Nail Shade?
I love to experiment with all different shades! That's one area I like to have fun with & almost always have my nails painted. These are my two current favs for this time of year.
3. Favorite Lipstick Shade?
I am not a big lipstick wearer, but I love me some lip gloss. I always have lipgloss in my car, my bag... always near me somewhere. I am currently loving this one.

4. Blow Dry or Air Dry your hair?
I have naturally curly hair, so it take a while to blow dry and straighten it. I wash and blow dry probably twice a week. After I blow dry, I add a pea size amount of coconut oil to the ends (stay away from the roots). It really adds a nice sheen and calms away some frizziness.
Just regular old coconut oil.
It does wonders for your hair, skin and nails. I use it as a moisturizer and it's a great lip balm too!

Sometimes. I usually don't wear it in the Summer. I do wear it, but I don't like a very heavy one. I usually do more of a tinted moisturizer. I do like some color in my face though, so I apply a self tanner twice a week to keep a little color and that glow!

7. Hair Up or Hair Down?
I start the day down, and it goes up as soon as I start to make dinner!

9. Bath or Shower?
Shower. I am not a fan of baths or hot tubs. We have a big, beautiful jacuzzi tub in our master bathroom. I have probably used it 3 times in the 9 years we have live in our house. Just not into baths.
My kids however loved the big tub when they were little!

10. Favorite Body Lotion?
Hands down this is my absolute favorite!! It smells so yummy and makes your skin feel like butter.

11. Do you wear perfume? If so, favorite scent?
Yep and only this one.
I am really sensitive to scents and most give me a headache. This one is nice and light.

13. Favorite Lip Balm?
I love this one from It Cosmetics. This came in a makeup kit I got about a year ago and I have been hooked ever since. It is really moisturizing and just gives the perfect hint of color. It is my go to everyday lip product.

14. How old were you when you first started wearing makeup?
Gosh I don't really remember, but I would say somewhere around 8th grade?? I remember making some awful color choices and sneaking some bright lipstick in my backpack when I started high school. I would put it on at the bus stop. #sorrymom
