Let's Look Daily Quiet Time

Today I am linking up with Shay & Erika for this month's edition of Let's Look. A fun monthly post where we take a peek at some random little things in our lives. Today's topic, Our Daily Quiet Time/Prayer Time.

So I guess for me, I don't have a daily prayer time, but gosh I love my morning quiet time. It probably started being really important for me after I became a Mom. Getting up a little bit before everyone else just helped me start the day on my own time and in a peaceful place.

That routine has continued today. even with kids that sleep well past 11am- LOL!  Whether it's during the work week or the weekend, I find myself the only person up in the morning and I love it. My day starts with saying good morning to the dog.

She just lays there for a while as I pet her and say good morning.

From there I get her fed, and start my day with some water & electrolytes and then my wellness regimen. This combo has helped me to keep my stress at bay and reduced my bloat (and 15 pounds!).  It has really been a game changer for me. You can grab it for $10 off this this link or drop me a comment if you want to chat more about it!

Water with electrolytes before coffee has made a huge difference in how I feel all day too! I have been doing that for around 4 months and feel great.

During the work week, this early morning start (430am) leads me to the fitness studio a few days a week to get in a workout. While it's not "quiet time" it's an essential part of starting my day off right.

On a weekend, I love transitioning to a cup of coffee and getting a spot on the couch in the Winter months or the patio in the Summer.

The sun rises on the back of our house and the sunrises and early morning light are unmatched. Coffee, a book and morning sunshine are 3 of my favorite things.

It's funny how people gravitate to sunrises or sunsets. I love to see the sunrise... my Ella will chase sunsets all Summer long!

So all that to say, my daily quiet time is not too complex or structured but I truly value a little alone time in the morning before my day gets started.  My morning routine really helps set my intention for the day.

Have a beautiful Wednesday friends.

I'll see you back here on Friday.
There is always room for one more at our family table.
xoxo
