Happy Thursday friends!!! This has been a pretty amazing Summer so far!! Between it being my first year home with the kids and the unbeatable weather, Summer 2018 is in the running for the Best Summer Ever! Here is a peek at what we have been up to.
Like I mentioned, I have worked outside the home the last 10 years, but after some craziness in April (you can catch up on that here)... I am home for a while. I am doing my best to make the most of it! Like random lunch dates on a Wednesday....
Followed by wishing Target had all the school supplies out....
Keeping in mind that school starts for us on September 4th!
And Monday afternoon haircuts because we can!
I have enjoyed a home cooked breakfast from Ella....
The morning's feature was scrambled eggs, a custom berry yogurt blend and a smoothie.
The kids and I took an impromptu trip to the beach last Tuesday.
And we had the best day!
We have gotten out to golf as a family too. I just love doing that sport together!
Last weekend we had a visit with our good friends (that are like family). They come in to visit every Summer and it's one of our favorite weekends of Summer!! We spent the whole day out on the lake.
These kids have grown up together!
Everyone had fun tubing!
Even though from the look on Luke's face he was terrified, I assure you he had fun and was in no danger!!
We caught a sailing race on the way home and it was the most beautiful night.
Last weekend Paul and I had a blast with friends on a Murder Mystery Ride. We cruised around on a bright red double decker tour bus trying to solve the murder!
And of course we have been spending lots of time out on the water!
July 15th was National Ice Cream Day and we celebrated with ice cream for dinner!
So overall it has been pretty epic!!! Cannot wait for the next 6 weeks!
See you tomorrow for Friday Favorites, there's always room for one more at our family table.
xoxo

Oh my goodness that beach :0 where is that? all our beaches here are closed on Chautauqua lake because of algae and we want to go to a beach which we were thinking Barcelona (lake erie) but a trip to buffalo beach somewhere would work to :)
ReplyDeleteHey Amy! That beach was Evangola State Park, probably not too far from you. It was ok, but the sand was not the best. It is probably worth the drive to head to the Canadian side of Lake Erie.. the water and beaches are so much nicer there!
DeleteThank you! We have driven by Evangola State Park but have never been inside the park itself.Any recommendations for beaches up in Canada? We also do Presquile in Pa.
